Welcome to KIYAKABIN. Kiyakabin was design by Mr. Riri an architect from Jakarta. Located in Sekotong west Lombok, Indonesia, about 57km from Lombok Praya International Airport (1-1,5 hr by car). About 1 hour from capital city of Mataram.

 KIYAKABIN was built in 2017 by a well-known architecture firm called Atelier Riri. Collaborate and built with local artisan. Concept of low energy and local material resources fro the building will adapted and sustained with the environment. This beach front living space cabin made by local artisan. The building tried to redefined the vernacular house construction technique of Lombok with the contemporary shape. Main materials using local wood, constructed by local workers.

This is not an ordinary hotel or villas, our cabin is an artisan living space for the people who loves art and design. I designed this cabin from a new concept of modern building with local wisdom and cultural context. Mostly everyday I worked and lived in Jakarta. But we will host you with all nice local friends in here.

In front of the KIYAKABIN there are 4 gili's (small islands) that have stunning underwater scenery. Snorkling is the main attraction on the island. In addition, the white beach is the best place to relax while sunbathing. Another attraction that is not less exciting is the beaches around KIYAKABIN. There are mekaki beach, goa landak beach, and surf point calls Desert Point located at the western end that was first discovered by professional surfer. Other beach destination are Senggigi Beach, Koeta Beach, Selong Belanak Beach. You can visit only about 1-2 hours. Besides beach, Lombok has a beatiful mountain scenery, you can trekking and visit a charming waterfall., Lombok. This pilot project brings new opportunities for us because of location and the concept of place it self.
